During his football career, Jerome Boateng represented several clubs, but he is most remembered for his performances for Bayern Munich. He was a key part of the club's defence from 2011 to 2021 and, among other achievements, won the Champions League twice with them.

The 35-year-old currently plays for LASK Linz, with whom he has a contract until the end of June 2026. The club's fans were not pleased with the player's signing due to his private life.

In 2021, Boateng ended a year-long relationship with Polish Kasia Lenhardt. A week later, she tragically committed suicide. Following the model's death, allegations arose that the footballer had been violent towards her. Even his mother confirmed this.

Not only was Lenhardt allegedly mistreated by Boateng. Earlier, he was accused of abusing another ex-partner. He was said to have insulted, bitten, and thrown Sherin Senler to the ground. He was found guilty and fined €1.2 million. However, the conviction was overturned due to procedural errors.

Another hearing took place on Friday (19 July), involving Boateng. Judge Susanne Hemmerich stated that there is insufficient evidence to support the woman's allegations. In her opinion, it cannot be proven that the 35-year-old was consistently aggressive towards women.

The German did receive a warning. He was given a reprimand and a conditional fine of €200,000. This means he must pay the amount if he breaks the law again.
