A pack of Lay's crisps has been listed on one of the auction platforms. Nothing would be surprising if it weren't for the price achieved. It exceeds €985, mainly due to one detail.

The pack of Lay's crisps listed for sale comes from the Polish special edition related to the release of the film "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace" in 1999. As stated in the announcement, "Lay's Potato Chips Bag (1999, Star Wars Edition, Polish Market) - UNOPENED."

The expiration date of the 100-gram pack of Lay's crisps with green onion flavour was 6 December 1999. However, the seller assures that the package was stored in ideal conditions – in a cool and dry place. The packaging is intact and tightly sealed. The air inside is still preserved, keeping the pack in its original shape.

Inside, there is an original double-sided scratch card that was part of the promotional campaign. The scratch card offered a choice between the left side, which gave higher chances of winning but with less valuable prizes (e.g., packs of crisps), and the right side, which offered less likely but more valuable prizes (e.g., multimedia computers).

This is an excellent choice for "Star Wars" enthusiasts, vintage collectors, and people looking for unique memorabilia from the late '90s, according to the announcement.

Currently, 3 bids have been placed in the auction, with the highest being €985. However, this amount may change as there are still 7 days left until the end of the auction.
