Four dead in a Russian air attack on Kyiv, six districts damaged
"Russia mounted an intense missile and drone barrage of the Ukrainian capital overnight, killing four people, Ukrainian officials said, as powerful explosions reverberated across the city," reported Reuters.
The powerful overnight strike occurred after Russian President Putin's talk with American President Trump, during which President Putin warned President Trump that Russia would hit Ukraine as a result of the conducted operation "Spiderweb."
Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that four people died as a result of the attack. Moreover, 20 people were injured, with 16 of them in the hospital. He also added that "Search and rescue operations are ongoing in several locations."

"Explosions and falling debris were reported in several districts, including Solomianskyi, Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi," reports the Kyiv Independent. Additionally, the authorities reported disruption in the operation of the metro service.
"All services are working at the scene of the damage and are processing reports of recorded debris from downed enemy targets," conveyed the Administration on Telegram. According to the administration, the repair work is expected to be completed within 24 hours.
Ukrainian electricity company, DTEK, also reported that "due to shelling by Russian occupiers, 2,167 families on the left bank of the capital were left without electricity." The work on restoring the electricity is ongoing.
Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko additionally conveyed that three State Emergency Service (SES) rescuers were killed in Kyiv while reacting to the aftermath of Russian strikes, RBC-Ukraine states. "They were working under fire to help people. Another nine rescuers were injured - some are in serious condition, and doctors are fighting for their lives. Additionally, five rescuers were injured while extinguishing a fire in the Ternopil region. All are receiving medical care," Minister Klymenko said.
In addition to the strike on Kyiv, the explosions have been reported in Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, Lviv, and Lutsk. Earlier in the night, Reuters reported the sound of Russian kamikaze drones and the sound of outgoing fire from Ukrainian anti-aircraft.
