"Can we execute him, this conscript? Just take this scum and shoot him in front of everyone like a traitor to the homeland," declared Vladimir Solovyov on his programme, broadcast on Rossiya1.

Bloggers outraged by the propagandist's remarks

Bloggers are Russian propagandist internet creators who support Russia's war against Ukraine and align with the Kremlin's narrative. Their name originates from the letter "Z", which has become a symbol of the invasion, often seen painted on Russian military vehicles.

This incident relates to a recording made on Sunday by a Russian conscript. The young soldier filmed not only his face but also the aftermath of the Ukrainian drone attack on the airbase, where several burning machines were visible. The man can be heard swearing.

His actions caused uproar among Russian war bloggers. "This piece of trash has lost it again. From impunity," wrote the channel "Romanov Light."

Another blogger commented: "And why does no one blame those in the Ministry of Defence responsible for educational and political work? Are we to execute a teenager who panicked and reached for his phone because he was raised in civilian life with modern ideology, while those who should have instilled military discipline and a new army ideology are rewarded? Who was supposed to transform a TikTok-raised, consumption-focused boy into a defender of the homeland with a sense of responsibility?" responded Roman Alekhin to Solovyov.

Operation "Spider Web". Kremlin remains silent

On Sunday, the Security Service of Ukraine targeted airbases where the Russian strategic air forces were stationed. As part of operation "Spider Web," 41 aircraft were destroyed, including A-50, Tu-95, Tu-22 M3, and Tu-160 aircraft. Experts have no doubt that the Ukrainian raid was the most impressive and successful operation of the entire war.

Vladimir Putin remained silent for over an hour following a series of incidents in Russia – initially, railway bridges in the Bryansk and Kursk regions were destroyed, followed by an unprecedented strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Russian strategic air force bases.
