Mourning a talent: Jeff Baena's untimely passing at 47
Jeff Baena, a well-known American director and screenwriter, and the husband of Aubrey Plaza, has sadly passed away at the age of 47. According to Sky News, Baena was found dead in his Los Angeles home on Friday morning.
Baena gained fame as the creator of films such as "Life After Beth" and "The Little Hours," in which his wife starred. The couple married in 2021 and had been together for nearly 14 years.
According to TMZ, one of the officers reported that the director's body was found by his assistant at the home in Los Angeles on Saturday after 3 PM GMT. Baena's death was confirmed at the scene. Police informed the service that the cause of death was suicide.
His death is, of course, a huge blow to the family, who are currently not providing information and are asking for privacy during this difficult time.

Baena was born in Miami, graduated from film school in New York, and moved to Los Angeles. He has a number of films to his credit.
Aubrey Plaza gained recognition from the series "Parks and Recreation." She has acted in many films and series, including "White Lotus" and "Megalopolis."
