On Thursday, the Europa League and Conference League semi-finals will conclude. In one of the matches, FK Bodo/Glimt will face Tottenham Hotspur. The Norwegian fans employed a well-known tactic to disturb their opponents' sleep by organising a fireworks display outside the hotel windows at 2:37 AM.

The Europa League semi-final began a week ago in London. Tottenham Hotspur secured a 3-1 victory at their home stadium against FK Bodo/Glimt, allowing them to travel to the return match in Norway with substantial confidence.

Near the Arctic Circle, Tottenham Hotspur players face unusual conditions. They will compete for a place in the Europa League final on an artificial pitch, and on the night before the match, they couldn't rely on complete darkness. Proper window coverings were essential. However, this might not have guaranteed a trouble-free night's sleep.

At 2:37 AM, a fireworks display began outside the hotel windows. FK Bodo/Glimt fans are not the first to think of disturbing opponents in the middle of the night.

It's not known whether the Tottenham Hotspur players were woken up, but a recording that appeared on social media shows that it was really loud outside the hotel windows. According to those responsible for the commotion, any method is considered fair to reduce the opponents' chances of victory.

For both FK Bodo/Glimt and Tottenham Hotspur, reaching the final represents a significant opportunity for a historic achievement, as it would be their first-ever triumph in a European competition.

In the other Europa League semi-final, Manchester United are playing against Athletic Bilbao. Additionally, on Thursday, the Conference League semi-finals will be completed, with Chelsea FC playing against Djurgardens IF, and ACF Fiorentina facing Real Betis.
