Pagani unveils stunning Utopia Roadster at Monterey Car Week
Summer is in full swing, making it the perfect moment for the premiere of a spectacular roadster from Pagani. The Utopia model, previously available as a coupé, now comes in an open-top edition.
How to make a unique car even more exceptional? Simply create an open version. Pagani has followed this tried-and-tested formula to create the Utopia Roadster. The result is truly impressive.
Most visual and technical elements are the same as the coupé. To the extent that both versions weigh the same - about 1,270 kilograms. This is thanks to the monocoque made from a blend of carbon fibre and titanium, which does not lose rigidity even after removing the roof.
Like the coupé, the Utopia Roadster is powered by a 6-litre V12 signed by AMG. This magnificent engine generates 864 hp and 1,110 Nm of maximum torque. All of it is channelled to the rear axle exclusively via an electromechanical differential.
The top speed is an impressive 350 km/h - 3 km/h less than the coupé. That's a fair trade-off to enjoy the wind in your hair. What’s less pleasant is the price you'll have to pay for the car itself.
The Utopia Roadster will make its debut during Monterey Car Week. According to the announcements, only 130 units will be produced, with each one costing a minimum of €3.3 million.
