Following today's meeting between Putin and Lukashenko in Moscow, a joint press conference is scheduled. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov suggested that Putin may address the topic of Ukraine during this event - reports ria.ru.

The service notes that it is not yet clear whether Washington and Moscow have exchanged views on this topic. Media reports indicate that Putin and Trump have a phone conversation scheduled for this Friday.

In early March, Russia proposed to Belarus the construction of drone factories on its territory, capable of producing up to 100,000 unmanned aerial vehicles per year. Alexander Lukashenko stated that this is a "tremendous opportunity" for his country - reported Russian and Belarusian media.

On Wednesday, Putin visited the Kursk region, where he emphasised the necessity of fully reclaiming this area and noted that captured Ukrainian soldiers from this region would be treated as terrorists.

As reported by the Kremlin, cited by the independent Russian portal Meduza, Putin visited one of the command posts of the Kursk group. Russian state media published a video showing the Russian leader dressed in camouflage and talking with Gerasimov.
