Vladimir Putin stated that 28,595 sanctions have been imposed against Russian companies and individuals.

Putin stated that sanctions are not merely temporary or selective measures but a systematic and strategic tool used to pressure Russia. He emphasized that, regardless of global circumstances or the international order, competitors will continuously seek to obstruct Russia and diminish its economic and technological capabilities. His remarks were reported by Russian media on Tuesday during the congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

"The train has left." Putin talks about the return of Western companies

The Russian leader simultaneously noted that some Western companies want to return to the Russian market. In light of this, he conveyed that the Russian government has been tasked with developing a procedure to enable the return of foreign businesses with a guarantee of fair operation.

However, Putin remarked that for Western companies that have already been replaced by Russian entrepreneurs, the opportunity to return has passed.
