The Ukrainian General Staff firmly rejected the accusations by the Russian Ministry of Defence regarding the alleged violation by Ukraine of the ceasefire terms. In a statement published on the Telegram platform, it was emphasised that the allegations about attacks on energy facilities are unfounded.

The Ukrainian armed forces noted that on 25-26 March, they did not conduct drone attacks on energy facilities in Russia's Kursk and Bryansk regions, nor in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The Ukrainian General Staff stresses that the Russian accusations are part of propaganda aimed at prolonging the conflict and misleading international opinion.

The Russian Ministry of Defence reported on Wednesday that at night, off the coast of Crimea, in the region of the Tarkhankut Peninsula, two Ukrainian drones were shot down. Their target, according to the Russians, was equipment of the underground Glebovskoe gas storage facility.

The Ukrainians also reportedly attacked energy facilities in the Bryansk and Kursk regions.

The United States reached separate agreements with Ukraine and Russia on Tuesday regarding the cessation of mutual attacks over the Black Sea and on energy targets.
