Russia offers support for new USA‑Iran nuclear deal talks

Russia declares readiness to support agreements between the USA and Iran regarding the nuclear deal, provided they are mutually acceptable, stated the head of Russian diplomacy, Sergey Lavrov.

Their goal is to resolve long-standing disputes related to the Iranian nuclear programme. - The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to seek an agreement within the framework of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty - affirmed Lavrov, quoted by the Kremlin news agency TASS.

After constructive talks in Muscat, the parties agreed to continue consultations. The next meeting is scheduled for 19th April in Rome. - The meeting proceeded constructively and in a calm atmosphere - reported the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
