Bad news has reached us from Ukraine. There have been a series of attacks on Ukraine by Russian strategic aviation and drones. In Kyiv, residents witnessed several explosions that thundered from the early hours of Monday morning. The attack also took place in the Lviv region.

On Monday morning, there was a series of attacks on ukraine by russian strategic aviation and drones. At least ten regions of the country were attacked, including the Lviv oblast, bordering Poland, and Lutsk, located just an hour's drive from the border.

The mayor of Lutsk, Ihor Polischuk, reported via Telegram about the damage in his city.

A residential building was damaged in the attack, and information about the injured is still being verified. Unfortunately, in a subsequent statement, the mayor confirmed the death of one person due to the hit on the city's infrastructure.

In Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, residents witnessed several explosions that thundered from the early morning hours. People sought shelter in metro stations, trying to protect themselves from the attacks.

Social media is filled with recordings and witness accounts of these dramatic events. The attacks also caused power outages in some districts of Kyiv, and the city was enveloped in an eerie silence, broken only by the sounds of further explosions.

Russians fear a Ukrainian invasion. Accuse the West

The Russian attack is a response to recent events in the Kursk oblast. Recently, Ukrainian politician Anton Gerashchenko posted a video on his social media showing Russians talking about the fighting in Kursk.

I have negative feelings. One should primarily defend their own territory, not attack others, so this is somewhat deceitful action from Ukraine, stated a young Russian.

Despite intense propaganda, more and more people, even state television employees, are beginning to doubt whether russia will be able to repel the Ukrainian attack on the Kursk oblast. This is evidenced by research from FilterLabs AI, which tracks moods in Russia, analysing social networks and news services.
