Russian drones set unprecedented daily record in Belarus
In the past 24 hours, 38 Russian Shahed kamikaze drones have flown into the territory of Belarus, setting an absolute daily record, the monitoring group Belarusian Hajun reported on Monday. Belarusian aviation was scrambled four times, and at least one drone was shot down.
The Belarusian Hajun group reported on its Telegram channel that on 24–25 November, a record number of Russian drones flew into Belarus from Ukraine.
"In the past 24 hours, on 24-25 November, at least 38 Russian Shahed kamikaze drones flew into Belarus from Ukraine, which is an absolute daily record in the history of monitoring," the group stated.
According to the report, at least one Shahed drone reached the city of Mazyr in the southeast of Belarus. Drones also flew into the Homel region near the Nova Huta border crossing three times.
Belarusian Hajun provided the exact times of the drones' entry into the country. They also noted that in the past 24 hours, the Belarusian armed forces scrambled fighter jets four times in the southeastern direction.
"In the past 24 hours, Belarus' standby aviation was scrambled and flew to the southeast of the country four times," the monitoring group informed.
This information may indicate an intensification of military activities in the region and growing Russian drone activity near the Belarusian-Ukrainian border. The Belarusian Hajun group calls for tracking further announcements on this matter.
