Operation "Spiderweb" was meant to destroy as many Russian aircraft as possible on four airports at the same time, with the use of numerous drones. Primarily, the media estimated that 40 aircraft could be destroyed or damaged as a result of this attack.

Heavy Russian losses at the Belaya base

Max Boot, a Washington Post columnist and fellow at the U.S. Council on Foreign Relations, compared the Ukrainian operation to the attack on Pearl Harbor, saying it must have been "an absolute shock for the Russians."

Now, new satellite photos have appeared, allowing us to look at the condition of the Russian military base Belaya, where we can see damaged or destroyed planes of the Putin regime.

Emerging satellite images offer a more precise assessment of the destruction. According to Jarosław Wolski, a Polish military analyst, the Ukrainian strike on the Belaya airbase destroyed three Tu-95MS and three Tu-22M3 bombers, while another Tu-95MS sustained damage.

Wolski notes that the loss of the Tu-95MS bombers could be particularly significant for the future course of the war in Ukraine. In a post on the X platform, he also pointed out that the satellite imagery reveals failed attempts to conceal the damage inflicted by Ukrainian drones.

"You can also see how the Russians arranged the wreckage of the destroyed Tu-22M3s to mimic intact aircraft in SAR imagery. Clever, but no match for modern SAR," Wolski remarked, highlighting the precision of satellites equipped with Synthetic Aperture Radar technology.
