-It would be absolutely futile for us to enter into such an armed confrontation with conventional means - said one of the experts on Vladimir Solovyov's propaganda programme in the context of the war with NATO. This is one of the first voices in the Russian public sphere in a long time to state that Russia is unable to win against NATO openly. The propagandists have their idea for such a situation.

Many of the pieces of information shared by Russian media and government representatives are probably not true. Such reports may be an element of an information war from the Russian Federation.

Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, special programmes explaining such decisive steps have begun in Russian media. For this reason, Kremlin chief propagandist Vladimir Solovyov has extended his programme, and he invites several guests to his "show" to confirm the correctness of the Russian authorities' actions.

At a certain point, an opponent of Kremlin policy also regularly appeared on the show. However, this person was shouted down and ridiculed by other guests and the host himself, having no chance to present their arguments.

Over time, however, the format of the programme changed. Viewers were increasingly convinced that Russia "is at war with all of NATO". There was also talk, in line with Vladimir Putin's words, of using nuclear weapons and the overall victorious position of the Russians in a potential conflict with the North Atlantic alliance members.

Even more surprising for internet users was the fact that a few days ago, in one of Solovyov's programmes, an expert appeared who spoke in line with common sense. Asked about the real possibilities of opposing NATO, he replied:

Confronting the NATO alliance with conventional weapons, in view of its superiority in conventional means of warfare, well, from our side, any course of action would be extremely disadvantageous - said the expert on Vladimir Solovyov's propaganda programme.

He then added that the only possibility of engaging in combat with the alliance could only be with the use of nuclear weapons. In other cases, an advantageous outcome for Russia in such a conflict is almost impossible and more likely involves a defeat.
