As a consequence of the Russian shelling in Dobropillya, 11 people were killed. This information was conveyed by Vadym Filashkin, the head of the local administration, via Telegram. Russian missiles hit eight five-storey residential buildings, an administrative building, and 30 cars. Fires broke out in two residential buildings and the administrative building due to the attack.

According to Polskie Radio24, while fires were being extinguished, the Russians attacked the same area again, damaging a fire brigade tanker. This situation further complicated rescue efforts and increased the scale of destruction.

During the night, the Russians also attacked Odessa on the Black Sea. Falling debris caused fires in an industrial building and a petrol station. These events highlight the dangerous situation in the region and the number of people at risk.

Ukraine strikes Russia's largest refinery

According to the Polish Press Agency, Ukrainian drones executed an attack on oil targets in Russia overnight from Friday to Saturday, damaging the Kinef refinery in the Leningrad region. This is one of the key oil enterprises in the country. This information was provided by the Ukrainian agency UNIAN.

Russian media reports that the air defence system was activated, but debris from the drones damaged part of the refinery. Due to the attack, operations at the Saint Petersburg-Pulkovo International Airport were also suspended for about an hour. Residents of the region reported on social media that there were several explosions in the morning.

The Kirishi refinery, part of Surgutneftegaz, is the largest in Russia in terms of fuel production. It specialises in deep oil refining and the production of petrol, diesel, and heating oil. Kinef plays a strategic role in the fuel and energy complex of the Russian Federation, supplying a significant portion of the country's fuel market. This information was emphasised by the Ukrainian agency UNIAN.
