The ballistic missile was likely launched from the Kapustin Yar training range in the Astrakhan region and was directed towards Dnipro. The estimated launch time was 3:12 AM Greenwich Mean Time. So far, the Ukrainian Air Force has not provided further information.

It is known, however, that the intercontinental ballistic missile was not intercepted.

The statement from the Ukrainian army does not specify the type of intercontinental missile used in the attack. At the moment, it is not possible to verify the truthfulness of the Ukrainian army's claims, reports Wirtualna Polska.

The announcement stated that the Russians also conducted an attack using a Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missile, as well as seven Kh-101 missiles, six of which were intercepted.

The missiles were initially directed toward Kyiv but changed to Poltava, ultimately striking the Dnipropetrovsk region. Following this incident, emergency power outages were implemented in several regions, affecting Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk.

Additionally, it was reported that an industrial enterprise was the target of the attack in Dnipro. Two fires broke out in the city.

At least three people were killed in Thursday's attack on Ukraine, while another 22 were injured.

1000 days have passed since the invasion began

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, this tragic period has been not only a time of brutal battles but also the relentless struggle of the Ukrainian nation for its freedom and sovereignty. The war has claimed thousands of lives, destroyed cities, and forced millions of people to leave their homes.

During these 1000 days, Ukraine has become a symbol of courage and determination, gaining the international community's support in its fight against Russian aggression.
