It happened. Those who were traumatized by the previous parts of the horror movie Terrifier must brace themselves for the fact that there will be more and more about the third instalment of the horror online—a film that nobody wanted to release into cinemas for a long time.

The first film in the "Terrifier" series by Damien Leone was made for around €32,000, which is peanuts considering the conditions in the film industry. The horror movie received mixed reviews from critics, but among fans of the genre, it became almost a cult production. The story of Art the Clown, who terrorises people trapped in a deserted ruin, was a traumatic experience for many viewers. The film wasn't shown in many cinemas, but it started circulating on streaming services and DVD. The second part could only be worse.

"Terrifier" continues to traumatise viewers

"Terrifier 2" is one of this decade's most talked-about horror films. As soon as reports emerged from the US that people were fainting or vomiting (!) during screenings and cinema staff were calling emergency medical services, the film became a hit. Damien Leone's work, with a budget of €225,000, earned over €13 million. It was clear that Leone would go even further and show his fans a continuation. The author allowed himself to add even more violence to the already critically brutal story, which was not well received by Hollywood studios.

Leone recently revealed that the opening scene of "Terrifier 3" is so terrifying that no film studio would ever allow him to shoot it. - "The first like 5 minutes of this movie, a studio would never let me film what I plan on filming. So mark my words, I guarantee you the first 5 minutes of this movie is going to be very controversial. But that’s not even the big kill scene. So like that’s why I was like, I need to just make this movie on my own, because it’s just too... it’s too insane," he said.

The third installment of the slasher made it to cinemas. Americans have been able to watch the film since 19 September, and it will be available in UK starting 11 October.

Those who have already seen the continuation are warning viewers who might consider attending a screening. "Fools, you have no idea what awaits you in 'Terrifier 3'. You will never believe what my eyes saw," writes one viewer quoted by Digital Spy. Who will dare to watch it?
