As the latest Harvard/Harris poll reveals, President Donald Trump receives the highest marks for his actions on immigration, which 51% of respondents support. His efforts to reduce government spending also gain approval from 50% of those surveyed.

As many as 70% of those surveyed approve of enhanced border security measures aimed at curbing illegal immigration to the USA.

Trump administration's actions. What are Americans concerned about?

Economic issues such as inflation and employment remain the main sources of concern for US citizens. About two-thirds of those surveyed identified these problems as the most important currently facing the country. Immigration and healthcare also ranked high on the list of priorities.

Trump's economic policies receive mixed reviews. Half of the respondents support tariffs on goods from China, Mexico, and Canada, which were intended to encourage domestic production.

In the opinion of 52% of those surveyed, the current US president is managing things better than his predecessor, Joe Biden.
