Many of the reports provided by Russian media or government representatives are propaganda. They are part of the information war conducted by the Russian Federation.

The White House announced that all military aid to Ukraine has been suspended, including aid en route to the country and stored in warehouses in Poland.

The decision by US President Donald Trump is seen as an ultimatum to Kyiv and an attempt to pressure Volodymyr Zelensky into negotiating peace on American terms, according to international media commentary.

The Kremlin responds

The Kremlin has reacted to Donald Trump's decision and is already attempting to leverage the situation. At a press briefing, Putin's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, stated, "If we are discussing the normalization of bilateral relations, it is essential to remove this negative burden of so-called sanctions."

Reuters reported that the United States is developing a plan to potentially ease sanctions against Russia.

On Wednesday, US President Donald Trump held a press conference at the White House to announce that sanctions against Russia will eventually be lifted. The president did not specify which sanctions might be lifted.

"Our attitude towards sanctions is well known; we consider them illegal," said a Kremlin representative. Regarding progress in this matter, Peskov noted that it is probably too early to say anything. We have not heard any official statements," he added.
