Trump urges global leaders to build in America amid tariff pause
Come to America, and build in America! - Donald Trump appealed to foreign leaders and entrepreneurs who do not wish to be subject to American tariffs.
Donald Trump wrote on Sunday evening on his social network, Truth Social, that "many world leaders and business executives" are reaching out to him for tariff exemptions.
He noted that foreign leaders must "right the wrongs of decades of abuse, but it won’t be easy for them."
But for those who want the easiest path: Come to America, and build in America! - the American leader appealed.
Donald Trump suspended tariffs for 90 days
On 9th April, Trump suspended all additional tariffs for 90 days that were imposed on several countries worldwide (except China), but the minimum 10% rate for all countries remains in effect, as well as the 25% rates imposed by the USA on steel and aluminium and the automotive industry.
