Donald Trump has signed an order banning transgender athletes from participating in women's sports competitions. This represents the latest step by the American administration to restrict the rights of transgender individuals.

The order, "Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports," immediately enforces the new rules.
Trump stated that with this order, "the war on women’s sports is over". This is another controversial move, following earlier actions such as the ban on gender changes for individuals under the age of 19, as highlighted by "The Guardian".
As White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated, Trump expects that the U.S. Olympic Committee and sports associations will no longer permit transgender men to participate in women’s sports competitions. However, she did not respond to questions regarding how Trump's new decree will affect the 2028 Summer Olympics, which are planned for Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, the transgender community is already feeling the impact of the new U.S. administration's actions. Some hospitals in the U.S. have ceased providing care for transgender youth, and prisons have isolated transgender women, informing them that they will be transferred to men's prisons after losing access to gender-affirming medical procedures.
