Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, often become the subject of jokes by American comedians. This time, Jimmy Kimmel, on his show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", criticised the former president for his reaction to a series of natural disasters that hit the USA.

As a result of tornadoes, dust storms, and fires, at least 42 people died. During this time, Trump boasted about winning a golf tournament on Truth Social.

I just won the Golf Club Championship, probably my last, at Trump International Golf Club, in Palm Beach County, Florida," he wrote on Sunday afternoon. "Such a great honor! The Awards dinner is tonight, at the Club. I want to thank the wonderful Golf Staff, and all of the many fantastic golfers, that participated in the even [sic]. Such fun! - he wrote.

Jimmy Kimmel did not hide his indignation that Trump focused on a private event instead of the crisis. He reminded me that Trump once criticised Joe Biden for being on holiday during Hurricane Helena. Meanwhile, after taking over his administration, he focused on the disasters only two and a half hours after boasting about golf.

We are actively monitoring the severe tornadoes and storms that have impacted many States across the South and Midwest — 36 innocent lives have been lost, and many more devastated. The National Guard has been deployed to Arkansas, and my Administration is ready to assist State and Local Officials, as they help their communities to try and recover from the damage. Please join Melania and me in praying for everyone impacted by these terrible storms! - quoted Trump’s post from Truth Social, where he asked for prayers for the victims.

The comedian also mentioned rumours about a crisis in the Trumps' relationship, which Michael Wolff described in his book All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America. The author claimed that Melania "can't stand" her husband and the nature of their marriage remains a mystery. The journalist wrote that Nobody knows where Melania lives, suggesting that their relationship might be on the brink of collapse.
