Trump's health status revealed: Fit to lead despite diet
Donald Trump underwent medical examinations and a cognitive test. This marks the first time since taking office that details about the U.S. president's health have been publicly shared.
The examinations were conducted on Donald Trump a few days ago, but we are just learning the results now. As reported by the White House, the oldest president in U.S. history has been deemed fully capable of holding office.
President Trump remains in excellent health, exhibiting robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function. [...] His active lifestyle continues to contribute significantly to his well-being—stated Dr. Sean Barbabella.
The doctor added that these results are influenced by the active lifestyle Donald Trump leads. A contributing factor is his hobby—he regularly plays golf. The report noted that all diagnostic and laboratory tests were within normal limits.
Examination of the head, ears, nose and throat revealed no significant abnormalities with the exception of scaring on the right ear from a gunshot wound—the report states.
The politician had his blood pressure measured (128/74) and pulse (62 beats per minute). It was revealed that he is taking four medications: Rosuvastatin and Ezetimibe, which control cholesterol, aspirin, and Mometasone cream for the skin.
His weight is approximately 102 kilograms, while his height is 191 centimetres, which indicates overweight. The leader of the United States is up to date with his vaccinations, including those related to trips to exotic countries. The medical report was created based on consultations with 14 specialists.
Additionally, a 10-minute test called the Montreal Cognitive Assessment was conducted, which detects potential cognitive impairments. The results showed no issues, as he achieved the maximum score (30 out of 30).
Donald Trump's diet was criticised
Donald Trump's health has been the target of political attacks. Opponents accused him of being excessively overweight and that he does not eat healthily. He does not shy away from fast food, and his favourite drink is diet cola.
From Corey Lewandowski's book "Let Trump Be Trump," it can be learnt that the president prefers vanilla ice cream and cookies for dessert, enjoys fried chicken and salad with thousand island dressing.
