Ukraine defends as Russia unleashes 74 drone assaults

After a one-day pause, Russia resumed drone attacks on Ukraine, launching 74 drones. The Ukrainian Air Force has reported an effective defence, successfully shooting down 41 drones.

According to information provided by the Ukrainian Air Force, the drone attacks were launched from various locations, including the Russian towns of Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Crimea. The targets were strategic areas in the north, south, and east of Ukraine. The Ukrainian Air Force, missile troops, and mobile defence teams effectively repelled these attacks.

41 drones shot down

As a result of the attack on Kharkiv, at least eight civilians were injured, including an infant. The Ukrainian Air Force confirmed the shooting down of 41 drones. Communication with 20 decoy drones was lost, which had no adverse consequences.

The night from Monday to Tuesday was the first in a long time that Russia did not use strike drones against Ukraine.
