Drone attack on Novorossiysk
This is one of the larger attacks that the Ukrainian air forces have conducted recently. On the morning of 3rd May, drones attacked Novorossiysk – a port city on the Black Sea which, after multiple Ukrainian attacks on Sevastopol in Crimea, has recently become the base of the Black Sea Fleet.
The mayor of Novorossiysk, Andrey Kravchenko, announced on his Telegram channel that he declared a state of emergency in the city following the Ukrainian drone attack.
So far, the Ukrainian side has not released any official statement regarding the attack on Novorossiysk. However, Ukrainian media covering the events in the Russian city highlighted that the targets of Ukrainian drones are never civilian infrastructure.
