UK's military review prompts nuclear threats from Russia
The Russians reacted apprehensively to the military activities of the United Kingdom. In response to the review of military capabilities and the disclosure of potential plans for Russian aggression, the Kremlin began making nuclear threats. Russian propagandists, in turn, are discussing a "nuclear armageddon."
The UK government is undertaking a strategic review of its forces. It also plans to increase defence spending. According to journalists at "Politico," Prime Minister Keir Starmer is preparing for a potential military conflict in this way.
The British not only assessed the readiness of their army but also analysed the possibility of an attack from Russia. According to the report published by the government in London on Monday (2nd June), the Kremlin may consider strikes using cruise missiles, cyberattacks, sabotage, long-range drone assaults, and attempts to manipulate the media.
The Russian authorities reacted apprehensively to these publications. Kremlin officials began discussing a nuclear attack on the United Kingdom. Even stronger language was employed by propagandists, led by Vladimir Solovyov.
A prominent Kremlin propagandist and Rossiya 1 employee warns the United Kingdom of a "nuclear apocalypse." On his programme, Solovyov began threatening that there will be an "armageddon" which will be "painful" for the British.
I can't understand why the British have gone mad [with the new UK defense review]. I can't understand why the British have gone mad [with the new UK defense review] - Solovyov pondered.
Even more forceful assertions were made by political scientist and Kremlin propagandist Dmitry Yevstafyev.
If current discussions around initiating a direct military conflict with Russia were to translate into action, the result would be absolute devastation. The end would come swiftly, but the agony would be profound—nuclear radiation offering not just death, but one of the most excruciating forms of it. That stark reality has been underlined by Yevgeny Yevstafyev, who has consistently warned against the catastrophic implications of such a course.
