One TikTok user named @throwback_pasta posted a video demonstrating a simple way to open Parmesan correctly. "You've been opening Parmesan the wrong way your whole life," states the user @throwback_pasta on TikTok.
How to open Parmesan correctly?
Instead of tearing the top of the package or cutting the foil randomly, the video suggests another solution. Simply cut a piece of the package from the side where you want to slice the cheese.
After cutting the desired amount of Parmesan, just slide the remaining piece of foil back into the original packaging. This way, the foil will fit perfectly to the cheese, preventing it from drying out. "Put it into the fridge this way," the man concludes.

The video quickly gained popularity on the internet. Some viewers admitted that it's a very useful method. "You learn something new every day," wrote one user. "I never thought of that, thanks," added another.
