At least, that’s what one of the experts running an Instagram profile specialising in these precious trinkets claims.

On social media, you can find the profile @thefakebirkinslayer, which fights against counterfeits. The profile regularly features photos showing celebrities who allegedly own counterfeit Hermès products. Recently, a photo of Gigi and Bella Hadid's mum appeared there. The stars of the reality show "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" had to face sharp criticism from netizens.
