Zelensky and Trump poised for pivotal Vatican meeting

When asked whether a meeting between the leaders of Ukraine and the United States has been planned, Zelensky responded, "We are always ready to meet with our partners from the United States."
On Saturday, the funeral of Pope Francis, who passed away on Monday, will be held at the Vatican. Many world leaders have announced their participation in the ceremonies, including U.S. President Donald Trump, who is expected to arrive with his wife Melania, and the President of Ukraine.
Last week, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that the United States may withdraw from attempts to bring about peace between Russia and Ukraine if there are no signs of reaching an agreement in the coming days.
