Drone strikes in Kharkiv leave 39 injured, chaos ensues
Last night, Kharkiv was attacked by drones. There were several explosions throughout the city, and 39 people were injured.
The first information about the shelling of Kharkiv was provided by the city's mayor, Igor Terekhov. According to his information, the Saltivka, Kyivskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Slobidskyi districts were also attacked.
During the night attack, Kharkiv suffered the most. The Russians struck with Geran-2 drones, reported Spartak Borysenko from the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office. He noted that residential buildings, private homes, civilian vehicles, enterprises, and two city hospitals were damaged.
After midnight Eastern Time, local authorities stated that the number of injured in the attack was 39. Among them were only civilians, including children and pregnant women.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office and the State Emergency Service released recordings showing the effects of the Russian drone attack on Kharkiv. The recording shows damaged high-rise buildings and cars.
Firefighters are still battling fires that broke out after the explosions. Rescuers are also on-site, providing medical assistance.
