Members of the Anglo-Saxon intelligence alliance, Five Eyes, and services from Israel and Saudi Arabia are considering limiting information exchange with the USA. According to NBC News, this decision is a response to the conciliatory approach of President Donald Trump's administration toward Russia.

The Five Eyes alliance includes the USA, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

According to NBC, U.S. allies fear that the identity of foreign agents may be accidentally disclosed to Russia.

A British government spokesperson dismissed claims that the UK intends to restrict intelligence cooperation with the United States. He affirmed that the U.S. remains the country's closest ally and stressed the commitment to continued collaboration on defense, intelligence, and security matters.

White House National Security Council spokesperson Brian Hughes stated that President Trump "realistically views" America's adversaries.

"The United States has unparalleled intelligence capabilities, which is precisely why initiatives such as the Five Eyes alliance exist," he noted.

The USA no longer provides intelligence data to Ukraine

A spokesperson for the British government denied that the United Kingdom is planning to limit intelligence cooperation with the USA. "The United States is our closest ally, and we will continue to work closely on defence, intelligence, and security issues," he stated.

A similar position was taken by the Canadian intelligence agency, emphasizing the "strong and resilient" relations with American agencies.

In the context of its cooperation with Ukraine, the USA has halted the sharing of intelligence data, including a key link for alerts about Russian missile strikes. This cooperation, which has been in place since 2014, has benefited both parties by providing valuable insights into Russia.

U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz noted that Donald Trump would consider restoring military support to Ukraine if peace talks occur.
