The As Ever brand, founded by Meghan Markle, quickly gained popularity in the culinary market. All its products, including raspberry jam, sold out within just half an hour of being launched, which became a topic of discussion among customers.

Despite being one of the brand’s most expensive products, the raspberry jam received mixed reviews. A small jar of this delicacy costs $14. According to the Plejada service, culinary critic Jane Herz from the Femail portal was among those who decided to purchase this product. She ordered the jam and shared her opinion.

According to Herz, the jam had a "nearly watery consistency" and resembled "a sauce that had spilled during transport." She noted that the jam dripped from cutlery like a sauce, making it difficult to spread on toast, ultimately becoming a "soggy disaster."

It was difficult to eat the spread with the toast, as it was so thin that it dribbled everywhere and made a mess. Our once nicely toasted piece of bread became a sopping wet disaster after just a few minutes, reviewed Herz, as quoted by the "Daily Mail."

Internet users strongly divided over Meghan Markle's jam

Similar comments appeared in users' feedback online. An internet user on platform X (formerly Twitter) wrote: "In the photo, it looks like it’s liquid! No seeds, no texture. Just liquid, sweet red water." Another commenter added: "It looks small, expensive, thin, and not very special. I think I’ll stick to my usual jam."

According to the brand's website, the jam criticized by many internet users was made from a homemade recipe by the Duchess, created during her kitchen experiments. According to the "Daily Mail" review, the product’s consistency "makes it an absolute failure." The review awarded the product just two out of five stars. "The Duchess says that jam is her jam, but we're not so sure. Maybe it's sauce?" it was suggested.

Despite these critical remarks, the As Ever brand enjoys substantial interest, and Meghan Markle’s products are quickly disappearing from the shelves.
