North Korean destroyer launch marred by "criminal act"

During the destroyer's launching ceremony, a serious accident occurred, and the leader in attendance, Kim Jong Un, described it as a "criminal act."

As reported on Thursday by North Korea's official news agency, during the warship's launching ceremony, a significant accident took place, and Kim Jong Un, the leader present at the event, labelled it as a "criminal act."

On Wednesday, an accident occurred during the launching ceremony of a new 4,990-tonne destroyer, which was reported as serious – informed the official KCNA news agency.

The agency added that Kim Jong Un observed the entire launch sequence and branded it a "criminal act caused by sheer carelessness" that is intolerable.

According to Reuters, Kim Jong Un gave orders to have the damaged ship repaired by the June session of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
