Why is it worth eating salmon?
Salmon is one of the healthiest ingredients we can incorporate into our daily diet – also in the form of a salad. This fatty fish from cold waters is not only delicate and aromatic but also exceptionally nutritious. It provides large amounts of omega-3 fatty acids, which have anti-inflammatory effects, support heart and brain function, and benefit the appearance of skin and hair. It is also a source of vitamin D, particularly valuable in the autumn and winter months or for individuals who spend little time in the sun.
Salmon is also rich in high-quality protein, vitamin B12, selenium, and iodine – elements essential for the proper functioning of the thyroid and nervous systems. Importantly, smoked salmon pairs well with vegetables, eggs, and light yogurt-mayo sauces, making this salad not only filling but also supportive of healthy body functions. By choosing the version with added salmon, we gain a wholesome dish that is light and suitable for even a formal table.
