The ship sank in an area with many sharks

Major General Amr Hanafi informed that some survivors found in the Wadi el-Gemal area, south of Marsa Alam, were transported by planes to receive medical assistance, while others were waiting to be picked up by an Egyptian warship.

Aerial and maritime units continue searching for the missing, he added.

The "Sea Story" sank near the town of Shaab Satayah, known for its beautiful coral reef, in an area where it "teems with sharks."
