Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov announced on Tuesday that the details of Monday's talks between Russia and the United States regarding a ceasefire in Ukraine will not be disclosed.

These were technical talks that delved deeply into details. Therefore, of course, the content of these negotiations will certainly not be made public, Peskov clarified, as quoted by the Polish Press Agency.

Peskov noted that Russia and the USA are currently analysing the results of the talks that took place in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Earlier, both sides had indicated that the discussions focused on a proposal for a ceasefire in the Black Sea.

No plans for a meeting of leaders

The Kremlin spokesperson added that there are currently no plans for a conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump. However, he assured that such a meeting could be quickly organised if necessary.

During the last conversation with Trump, Putin did not agree to a full 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine proposed by the USA. He only agreed to a ceasefire concerning energy facilities and infrastructure.

On Friday, Ukraine and Russia accused each other of violating the partial truce. Meanwhile, in Riyadh, another meeting of U.S. and Ukrainian representatives began, as reported by AFP and Bloomberg agencies.

Long negotiations in Riyadh

On Monday, the American delegation held talks with Russian representatives that lasted over 12 hours. On Tuesday in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, the talks between Ukrainian and United States representatives about a potential ceasefire with Russia concluded. This information was provided to the AFP agency by a source from the Ukrainian delegation.

The consultations have ended, all details will be provided later, informed the source, quoted by the Polish Press Agency.
