Why is it worth eating poppy seeds?

Poppy seeds are not only a unique culinary ingredient but also a rich source of valuable nutrients. They are an excellent source of calcium, iron, and magnesium, which support bone health and the nervous system. Additionally, they contain healthy fats and fibre, aiding digestion and providing long-lasting satiety. However, it is important to consume in moderation – while poppy seeds are healthy, consuming them in excessive amounts can lead to digestive issues. The recommended portion is about 1-2 tablespoons a day.
