Ben Affleck seen smoking again post-Lopez breakup: Stress relief?

It appears Ben Affleck has reverted to an old habit following his breakup with Jennifer Lopez. Paparazzi captured the actor driving through Hollywood in his luxury car while smoking a cigarette. Perhaps this is his way of managing stress?

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were among the most recognisable and beloved couples in Hollywood for years. Their relationship had its ups and downs but consistently attracted immense fan and media interest. Eventually, it became evident that their feelings for each other had waned. Their breakup has been the top story in global media for several months, with tabloids providing readers with details about their relationship almost daily.

Jennifer indeed spent a lot of time, ensuring that Ben was happy and had everything he needed. She looked after him almost like a child. Friends constantly reminded her that she wasn’t responsible for his feelings at all, "People" magazine reported recently.

A source from the magazine indicates that "Ben has never handled stress well. He easily becomes frustrated and gloomy". It seems he has found a way to cope with his nerves, however. Since breaking up with Jennifer, he has returned to smoking cigarettes. This was captured in paparazzi photos, who "caught" him in Hollywood. After leaving an office, the star got into his car and lit a cigarette. As he drove around the city, he smoked one after another.

Interestingly, a few years ago, he claimed to be repulsed by such substances, following a role where he smoked five packs of cigarettes a day.

During the week of filming, I went through five packs of cigarettes daily. Once the project wrapped up, I was so fed up with smoking that I quit entirely. As a result, my final moments holding a cigarette were caught on film, he mentioned after completing "Smokin' Aces."

It seems the repulsion has subsided, or perhaps he’s just coping with the breakup with Jennifer Lopez?
