According to The Telegraph, on Tuesday, the British Prime Minister spoke with Volodymyr Zelensky to convey a "brutal truth" and advise him on what to say to Trump so that discussions could return to normal.

Shortly thereafter, the Ukrainian leader posted a lengthy message on social media praising the US president's "strong leadership," expressing gratitude for his country's military aid, and directly addressing the controversy in the White House.

"Our meeting in Washington, at the White House on Friday, did not go the way it was supposed to be. It is regrettable that it happened this way. It is time to make things right. We would like future cooperation and communication to be constructive," he wrote on platform X.

According to "The Telegraph", the UK and its European allies wanted to use the warm relations with the Ukrainian leader, demonstrated over the weekend at the summit in London, to "deliver a brutal truth".

On Tuesday, after the White House disagreement, a White House representative confirmed in a statement to the media that President Donald Trump suspended all military aid to Ukraine "to ensure that it contributes to resolving" the conflict.
