Kim Jong Un supervised military tactical exercises, during which operations with the use of drones were conducted.
During the military exercises, the dictator stated that while the country’s revolutionary armed forces are engaged on multiple fronts, the anti-imperialist class struggle remains paramount. He emphasized, however, that ensuring full preparedness for war is the top priority, according to the state-run KCNA agency.
Analysts from the South Korean Yonhap agency interpret these words as an attempt to legitimise military support for Russia in the conflict with Ukraine.
South Korean media also suggest that the purpose of the exercises, which took place on Tuesday, is the exchange within the Pyongyang army of combat experience gained by soldiers on the Russian front, especially in terms of drone tactics.
