However, Ushakov did not provide details on when a possible address by Putin might occur.

The Russian president met with Alexander Lukashenko at the Kremlin. The Belarusian leader revealed during a press conference that Putin plans to meet with Steven Witkoff. The topic of discussion is the American proposal concerning a temporary ceasefire.

- Today and tomorrow, Vladimir Vladimirovich will converse with Trump's representatives and envoys on this topic, and there are many questions beyond the 30-day ceasefire. This needs to be considered as a whole, and appropriate decisions must be made, Lukashenko stated.

It is also known that initial talks between the Russian and US representatives have taken place. On Wednesday, the White House announced a phone conversation between Mike Waltz "and his Russian counterpart." Today, these reports were commented on by Yuri Ushakov, who admitted that he had conveyed Russia's position.

The Kremlin has rejected the idea of a temporary ceasefire.

Visit of the American delegation to Moscow

On Thursday, an American delegation arrived in Moscow to conduct talks with the Russian authorities. On the plane, which landed in Moscow, was the special advisor to US President Donald Trump on Middle East affairs, Steven Witkoff.
