Trump's strategic talks: Securing peace and resources in Ukraine
US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday during a conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that we are holding talks with Russians and Ukrainians, and I hope we will achieve something that stands above all.

He responded in this way to a Polish Radio correspondent's question about whether he would urge Vladimir Putin to withdraw from southern Ukraine.
Trump once again highlighted the scale of human losses and destruction, describing the conflict as a "slaughter."
- When you hear the real numbers in Ukraine, what, what numbers, and that's not including the destroyed cities and all the people killed. That's why I want it to stop - said the American president. However, he did not provide any additional details.
Trump demands access to Ukrainian rare earth metals
US President Donald Trump suggested on Monday that he is insisting that Ukraine secures US access to rare earth metals in exchange for further military assistance.
- We're telling Ukraine they have very valuable rare earths. We're looking to do a deal with Ukraine where they're going to secure what we're giving them with their rare earths and other things - said Donald Trump during the signing of orders, including establishing a national wealth fund.
I want security of the rare earth, and they’re willing to do it - he added.
