Now, another delicacy has appeared on the horizon that has a chance to dethrone its predecessor—chocolate with angel hair. The novelty in promotion costs a staggering €134.55 per kilogram—even more than Dubai chocolate.

What is angel chocolate?

A new viral delicacy has appeared on TikTok: Turkish chocolate. Unlike Dubai chocolate, it is made with white chocolate, usually dyed light pink or light blue.

The base for the filling is Turkish Pismaniye, which is somewhat the equivalent of our candyfloss. Some people also compare it to halvah. In reality, it consists of sugar stretched in wheat flour with optional additions such as cocoa or vanilla. The texture of the traditional treat is very fluffy and fibrous. Colloquially, it is called angel hair. Hence, the alternative name for Turkish chocolate is angel chocolate.
