Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine has successfully tested its first domestically produced ballistic missile.

During a press conference, Volodymyr Zelensky was asked about the defence industry's latest achievements. "It may be too early to talk about it but I want to share it with you. There has been a positive test of the first Ukrainian ballistic missile. I congratulate our defence industry on this. I can’t share any more details about this missile," said Zelensky.

The President of Ukraine also added that he could not say anything more on the subject but decided to share this information aloud so that the public could appreciate the people who work constantly at defence enterprises.

The Ukrainian victory plan

During the conference, Zelensky also said that the operation of the Defence Forces in the Kursk Oblast of the Russian Federation is one of the directions of the Ukrainian victory plan.

Zelensky conveyed that the Kursk region is part of the Ukrainian plan—the plan for Ukraine's victory. For some, this may sound ambitious, but this plan is very important. As the president stated, one of the areas of the plan that has partly been carried out is Kursk. He added that the second area is Ukraine's strategic place in the global security infrastructure. The third direction is a powerful package that will force Russia to end the war by diplomatic means, as Zelensky argued.

The final direction of the plan, according to Zelensky, is the economy. He also stated that the plan is ready.
