These attacks are part of a large-scale operation initiated on 15th March on the orders of President Donald Trump, aiming to protect American interests and ensure freedom of navigation in the region.

According to local media, a building in a residential district in the west of Sana'a was bombed. Al Hadath TV reported that the targets of the attacks were weapons storage facilities belonging to the Houthis, located in both Sana'a and Saada province in north-western Yemen. In response to US actions, the Ansar Allah movement carried out missile and drone attacks on the American aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman.
