The potential signing of the agreement concerning American involvement in the extraction of Ukrainian minerals depends on Volodymyr Zelensky's stance, reported Fox News, citing sources in the White House.

Fox News reports that a senior representative of the American administration noted that there will be no agreement on mineral extraction until Volodymyr Zelensky publicly apologizes on camera for his behaviour in the Oval Office.

Turmoil in the White House

The agreement was supposed to be concluded on Friday, 28th February, in Washington. Volodymyr Zelensky himself arrived in the American capital to sign the document at the White House after meeting with Donald Trump.

Ultimately, the signing did not occur, and the meeting between the leaders ended in significant turmoil. Zelensky was asked to leave the White House and departed without speaking to the media.
