Russian strikes devastate Ukrainian town as Ukraine hits refinery

The Russian shelling in Dobropillya resulted in 11 fatalities. This information was shared by Vadym Filashkin, the head of the local administration, via Telegram. Russian missiles hit eight five-storey residential buildings, an administrative building, and 30 vehicles. Fires ignited in two residential buildings and the administrative building due to the attack.
As reported by Polskie Radio24, while extinguishing the fires, the Russians attacked the same area again, damaging a fire brigade tank truck. This situation further complicated rescue efforts and increased the level of devastation.
During the night, the Russians also attacked Odessa on the Black Sea. Falling debris led to fires in an industrial building and a gas station. These events highlight how dangerous the situation in the region is and the significant risk to many people.
Ukraine strikes Russia's largest refinery
According to the Polish Press Agency, Ukrainian drones launched an attack on oil targets in Russia overnight from Friday to Saturday, damaging the Kinef refinery in the Leningrad region. This is one of the country's key oil enterprises. This information was provided by the Ukrainian agency UNIAN.
Russian media reports that the air defence system was activated, but the drone debris damaged part of the refinery. Due to the attack, the operation of the Saint Petersburg-Pulkovo International Airport was also suspended for approximately one hour. Residents of the region reported on social media that there were several explosions in the morning.
The Kirishi refinery, part of Surgutneftegaz, is the largest in Russia regarding fuel production. It specializes in deep oil refining and the production of gasoline, diesel, and heating oil. Kinef plays a strategic role in the fuel and energy complex of the Russian Federation, supplying a significant portion of the country's fuel market.
