Over 20 million views in just one day, and that was just the trailer for the movie "Deadpool & Wolverine". The film has already been shown to its first viewers, provoking an avalanche of comments from those who were more than slightly shocked.

Recent Marvel productions have received rather lukewarm responses. Voices suggested that Marvel needs a fresh start, a way to surprise and attract viewers who had a great time watching "Guardians of the Galaxy" or "Avengers: Endgame". Enormous hopes were pinned on "Deadpool & Wolverine". As soon as the first trailer appeared, millions of internet users rushed to watch it. Movie market analysts predict that the film will make around £123 million in the United States during the opening weekend, and over £245 million worldwide. Everything points to it being a true box office hit that will be talked about for a long time.

"Deadpool & Wolverine" - first reactions after screenings

"Deadpool & Wolverine" will be one of the most expensive productions of 2024, possibly even the most expensive. Its budget is estimated at £205 million. As nearly all American journalists emphasize, this will be Marvel's first production with an "R" rating, meaning it’s only for adults. Until now, Marvel has usually ensured their productions were also suitable for younger viewers. The first reviewers confirm that the new film is brutal, with gallons of blood flowing.

"DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE is the shot in the arm the MCU so desperately needed. Vulgar, violent, scathing, and at times, even touching, this R-rated romp holds nothing back delivering on everything its fans want with maximum effort. It even manages to pay respect to the Fox era’s legacy while ushering in a new one for Marvel. It feels damn great to see Hugh Jackman back as Wolverine and his hilarious banter with the pitch-perfect Ryan Reynolds is the heart of what makes this entertaining film work over its convoluted multiverse plot. Despite the literal and figurative messiness, I had such a gigantic smile on my face the entire time it didn’t matter." Matt Neglia added.

"Deadpool & Wolverine" will premiere worldwide on July 24, and American viewers will see it on July 26. Shawn Levy directed the film, and Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick wrote the screenplay. Emma Corn (in the main photo) will play Cassandra Nova, the main villain. The film also stars Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, and Matthew Macfadyen.
