Priscilla Presley sues former partner over alleged memorabilia fraud

For her downfall, actress and widow of Elvis Presley blames her former business partner Brigitte Kruse. She accuses her of fraud and embezzlement, and isolating her from family and friends. There is a lawsuit.

According to People magazine, Priscilla Presley's lawyer filed a lawsuit accusing Brigitte Kruse and her associates of deceiving and exploiting the actress and robbing her of one million pounds.

This "legal dance" is just beginning, as Kruse's attorney said he cannot respond to the lawsuit because he has not received a copy. So what is this all about?

According to Ms Presley, she was deceived by the auction house owned by Kruse, with whom she became involved when she put up some of the King's memorabilia for sale.

The people mentioned in the court document allegedly gained the widow’s trust and framed her into servitude. This property law was established in favour of a specific person. In this case, it probably concerns the right to the items Presley transferred to the auction house, not knowing she would lose them.

The widow's lawyers also accuse Kruse of isolating Priscilla from her family and ensuring that they would take care of her, including financially.

Seventy-nine-year-old Priscilla Presley met Brigitte Kruse, the auction house owner, two years ago. She quickly ingratiated herself with Elvis's widow, became her friend, and made the actress fully trust her, including with her husband’s memorabilia.

Priscilla Presley met Elvis when she was 14 years old. Even though Hollywood beckoned, he never agreed to let her pursue a career. She could only consider dancing and performing as a hobby. Her first roles came only after her divorce from the musician. Polish viewers certainly remember her performances in the "Naked Gun" series, where she partnered with Leslie Nielsen. A film with the working title "Naked Gun" featuring her is in production, with a release planned for 2025.
